Frisbockey Preaseason

Time: Saturday, September 1 2007 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Location: Walker Lawn

Description: The first preseason game of the year was a huge success! Held near the end of Orientation week, many RAs brought down newer residents of their houses to sample Frisbockey. Approximately sixty people played a two-hour-long game on Walker field and we gave away every single team application we brought to the field. Not only is their a lot of interest in Frisbockey being generated in the halls, but based off of the gameplay seen Saturday, the competition will be great to watch

Time: Saturday, September 8 2007 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Location: Wads G17/19 W

Description: This meeting was mandatory for all Frisbockey captains to attend in order to register for the upcoming season. Due to a mistake in publicity, two separate meetings were held (one at two, and another at four), but between the two meetings 32 teams applied, a new high for Frisbockey! Frisbockey Season

Time: Monday, September 10 2007 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Location: Walker Lawn

Description: Frisbockey is one of Michigan Tech's newest sports and a favorite of many residents. This year's season will be one of third fall Frisbockey season run by IRHC, and we'll have games regardless of snow, rain, or good weather.

Results: 32 teams played in the largest Frisbockey season... in the World! (Yes, we're the only place in the world who plays Frisbockey). With only two canceled games due to weather, the various teams from all three halls played in rain, wind, and at times, some pretty severe weather. Each of the teams played seven games during the season, and then half of them moved on to the finals.

Frisbockey Finals

Time: Saturday, September 29 2007 1:00 pm - 5:00 am

Location: Walker Lawn

Description: After a sunny-then-soaked weekend of games, this year's Frisbockey tournament has drawn to a close. Out of the 32 teams that first started playing, only 16 entered the finals. Team Landslide took first place, keeping their undefeated stance all the way through to finals. Stacked received second, Moo Crew took third, and the Knights of Narnia came in at fourth place. Congratulations to all of these teams, and a huge thank you to everyone who played or helped out with Frisbockey this season
