Orientation Presentation

Time: Wednesday, August 29 2007 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Location: DHH West Lounge

Description: A fun-filled presentation to first year students about what IRHC does, how we work with the hall councils, and how they can get involved. This year about thirty new first year students showed up to a pleasantly short session mid-way through Orientation week.

Learn Something

Time: Monday, October 15 2007 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Location: Wads G17/19 W

Description: If you’re interested in becoming Red Cross certified in adult CPR, adult AED, and First Aid, visit our events page and go to Learn Something. Information and registration information will be available starting on Monday, Oct 8. It’s only a $5 cost to you to become certified. We’ll cover the rest. Let us help you help others. Do Something

Time: Tuesday, October 16 2007 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Location: Wads G17/19 W

Description: Not only is being involved in IRHC a great way to meet new people and be involved, it will also give you skills to use in your college years and future career. While members aren’t paid, we do get some sweet perks (like free food and staff t-shirts), and it always looks good on a resume!

Safehouse Informational Meeting

Time: Tuesday, October 16 2007 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Location: Wads G17/19 W

Description: Curious about what Safehouse is? Have some questions about the information or application packet? Wondering how far you can stretch the decoration rules to put together something really amazing? Find out about Safehouse and get your questions answered the informational meeting by the coordinators of this annual event.

Safehouse Tour Guide Meeting

Time: Wednesday, October 24 2007 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Location: Wads G17/19 W

Description: This is a mandatory Safehouse meeting for all participating houses to send both tour guides to. Topics include the finalized tour routes, safety issues, and emergency plans. If a designated tour guide cannot make it, a replacement may be sent, but any absent houses will be eliminated from the judging of Safehouse.

E-Board Informational Meeting

Time: Wednesday, February 27 2008 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Location: Wads G41W

Description: Interested in being on the Executive Board of one of the coolest student groups at Michigan Tech next year? Members of this year's e-board will be available in an informal Q & A session this afternoon to answer any questions you may have.
