Bike Storage

Thursday, November 6 2008 - Angela Curtis - Tags: bike storage

Did you bring your bike up to school to ride around on throughout the fall? Do you need somewhere to store you bike during this upcoming winter? Well...have no fear! Your respective residential hall councils are here to store your bike for you. Make sure you contact them and are ready to store it on November 16th between the times of 2pm and 4pm. If you do not store your bike during this time, you will be charged $5.00. For more information, visit your respective residence hall councils web pages (www.housing.mtu.edu/whsa, www.housing.mtu.edu/mha, or www.housing.mtu.edu/dhhc) or send them an email to either IRHC or the hall councils.

Through out the day, there was an estimated 350 younger kids who traveled through the houses and about 500 older kids who took a "haunted house" tour (approximately 850+ people from the community toured through the residence halls on October 25th). Winners were announced at the DHHC Costume Party part way through the night are were as follows:

0-7 Age Group Overall (between all three residence halls):
1st - Summit
2nd - I-House/Strange Crew/Tucker Inn
3rd - Daddy's Girls/CSLC

8-15 Age Group Overall (between all three residence halls):
1st - Mama's Boys
2nd - Nirvana/Citadel
3rd - Powerhouse

5th - Cellblock

1st and 2nd place plaques were awarded to the 0-7 Age Group winners of each hall and 1st through 3rd plaques were awarded to the 8-15 Age Group winners of each hall (for more information on this, email irhc@mtu.edu).
