Approval by the Michigan Technological University Board of Control was given on Friday, May 1, 2009 for the new residential apartment building not to exceed $16.5 million. The construction bid was awarded to Gundlach Champion of Houghton, Michigan. Land preparation began on July 20 so check back here for construction updates. The new residential apartment building is scheduled to open Alumni Reunion Weekend August 2010.
